A couple weeks ago I ordered a Helium mobile 5g outdoor hotspot and at the same time also ordered a Helium mobile 5g indoor hotspot. Officially us mobile supports hotspot devices on the pooled plans but not on the unlimited plans to help prevent abuse of the service and to keep it fair for other users. You can check their website for how they handle going out of your data allowance. I’m considering using my phone’s mobile hotspot instead. I am in the 25/mo Warp plan that doesn't have hotspot. However if they allowed all data to be used for HotSpot it would increase average data usage as they would attract more customers there mostly for HotSpot that would use closer to 100 GB, hypothetically increasing average customer data use to double at like 80 GB meaning it could cost to US mobile double by allowing all data to be used as HotSpot.
